• National Health Authority of Malta.
• A Pharmacist specialised in Pharmacology serving as Director at the Maltese Medicines Agency (ADM) and responsible for EU centralised medicinal product evaluations, Pharmacovigilance, scientific advice and clinical trials.
• His area of expertise includes pre-clinical and clinical activity as well as R&D with commitment to teaching and regulatory activities
• Professor Borg is a PRAC member as well as the Maltese member of the EMA’s CHMP.
• Co-Chair of the European Union Pharmacovigilance Oversight Group representing the EU Heads of Medicines Agencies
• Member of the Paediatric Committee (PDCO) and Committee on Advanced therapies (CAT);
• Member of the biologics working party (BWP) at the EMA.
• Trained at the University of Bristol and has published numerous scientific publications as well as chapters in books.
• Visiting Professor at the School of Pharmacy, University of TOR Vergata, Rome, Italy.
