Daniel Biank, JD, MEng, PE, RAC, ASQ-CMQ/OE

Daniel Biank is the Vice President of Regulatory & Government Affairs at Accuray, the leading USA-based manufacturer of radiation therapy systems for treating cancer. With over two decades of experience spanning engineering, law, and regulatory strategy, Daniel has held leadership roles at GE HealthCare, Canon Medical Systems, and IMRIS, where he tailored Siemens Healthineers imaging systems for surgical applications.

He has advised investors, inventors, and companies in launching diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to global market. He has successfully led advocacy efforts with trade associations to shape policy and regulation to drive practical patient access to advanced technologies. He holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin, a Master of Engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University. He is a licensed attorney, Professional Engineer (PE), Regulatory Affairs Certified (RAC), and a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
