Renée Matthews is Managing Editor, Journals, at RAPS. She is responsible for all editorial, production, and quality control aspects of the journal workflow, from editorial calendar planning through submission and peer-review, content development, and editing to final publication. She has worked in publishing as a news journalist and journal editor in the US and South Africa for more than 35 years. Since joining RAPS in 2020, she has launched RF Quarterly, co-launched the annual Writing for RAPS presentation at Convergence, and substantially restructured and expanded the Guidelines for Authors. Renee is currently presiding over the 2026 launch the RAPS Journal of Regulatory Affairs. She was previously managing editor of a monthly endocrinology news publication and before that, managing editor of an oncology journal. She can be reached at rmatthews@raps.org
