Elisa Pedone, PhD

Pharmaceutical Quality Senior Specialist
European Medicines Agency, Netherlands

Elisa Pedone is a senior scientific administrator in the Pharmaceutical Quality Office at the European Medicines Agency (EMA) since 2005, responsible for new centralised applications and post-authorisation activities in the biotechnology/ biological area. Previously, she worked for two UK biopharmaceutical companies in the area of protein delivery. She has also been a Marie Curie post-doctoral fellow at the London School of Pharmacy (UCL).
Dr Pedone has a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and a PhD on the synthesis characterization and application of polymers for drug delivery system from University of Palermo, Italy.
