Senior Product Lead and Companion Diagnostic Topic Lead

Antonella is a Senior Scientific Specialist who works as a Product Lead and as Companion Diagnostic Topic Lead in the Oncology and Radiopharmaceutical Office, in the Human Medicines Evaluation Division at the European Medicines Agency. Responsible for clinical and regulatory science input for a portfolio of products/disease area from pre- submission of initial marketing authorisation and through post-authorisation. She works on the implementation of the IVDR regulation and issued regulatory and scientific guidance on companion diagnostics. Antonella is also a point of reference for regulatory and scientific guidance on companion diagnostics at the Agency. Previously 2014-2020 Antonella worked as a Scientific officer in the Scientific Advice Office at EMA. Prior to join EMA Antonella worked for more than 10 years in molecular oncology in many highly recognized Academic Institutes and Hospitals around the world (Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Cancer Research Fund UK, VIMM Italy). Antonella has a degree in Biology and a PhD in Molecular Oncology.
