Sarah has been working in regulatory affairs for the last 15 years, starting her career in F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Basel, Switzerland. After 6 years working on various European and international regulatory procedures, spanning from early phase programs to marketed products, Sarah moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to join Genentech in 2016. At Genentech, Sarah took on global roles, leading regulatory affairs functional teams and being accountable for the global regulatory strategy of various projects. In addition to project work, Sarah was also a people leader for the last few years. Now back in Switzerland, and working again at F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Sarah is currently a Regulatory Sr. Group Director, focusing on the development of products for the treatment of various gastro-intestinal tumors and antimicrobial resistance. In addition, for the last 5 years, she has been contributing to cross-functional discussions aiming to embed inclusive research in the company’s approach to clinical trials. Sarah is a pharmacist by training and obtained her Master’s Degree in regulatory affairs from the Paris-Sud University, France.
