Aleksandr Merenkov brings 10+ years of healthcare and life sciences experience and is currently the Global Regulatory Policy and Intelligence Lead at Genmab, a biotechnology company developing next-generation therapeutic antibodies to treat cancer and other serious diseases. Prior to Genmab, he held regulatory positions at Spark Therapeutics, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, GSK Consumer Healthcare, and Costco Pharmacy. As a lifelong learner, Aleksandr holds a Doctor of Pharmacy, Master of Science in Data Science, and MBA, and is a passionate AI enthusiast pioneering AI solutions to drive regulatory excellence. His global regulatory intelligence experience encompasses regulatory compliance, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, as well as strategic insights and deep regulatory research. Aleksandr has implemented innovative solutions and systems that have helped organizations achieve significant cost savings while developing efficient processes. Born in Kazakhstan with Belarusian/Ukrainian heritage and bilingual in English and Russian, Aleksandr enjoys spending time with family, playing sports (volleyball, basketball, and pickleball), and trying new foods.
