As the Founder of RGM Life Sciences Consulting, Raquel helps regulatory and R&D teams think strategically, build capabilities, and accelerate innovation. She is a strong advocate for the use of technology and AI to enhance decision-making and operational excellence, having spearheaded digital transformation initiatives in analytics and process automation.
Known for her deep consumer healthcare expertise and ability to build high-performing global teams, Raquel partners with clients to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions that balance risk, enable scientific progress, and fuel sustainable growth.
Her career includes leadership roles at Sanofi, Pfizer, Novartis, Reckitt Benckiser, and Bristol-Myers, as well as recognition through the TOPRA Inspiration Award, HBA Luminary honor, and inclusion among America’s Most Inspirational Women in Leadership.
A dedicated advocate for equity, Raquel is also part of the Rutgers University faculty, where she teaches Fundamentals of Regulatory Affairs for master’s students. Having lived and worked across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe, she is recognized for building best-in-class regulatory capabilities and teams through design and translation of vision into operational priorities and team development.
She holds a Pharm.D. from the University of São Paulo, a J.D. from Mackenzie University in Brazil, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
